The saffron

Three grades, one standard

Each crocus flower gives only three red threads, picked by hand during a few weeks of autumn. We sort them into the traditional Afghan grades, so you buy exactly what your kitchen or customers need.

Every thread starts with a family

Saffron is picked one flower at a time, at sunrise, by Afghan families who have grown it for generations.

We buy directly from these farmers, check every batch ourselves, and carry the name Sharifi on every pack, because we stand behind what is inside.
